Product Feature: EasyVR Shield 3.0 - Voice Recognition Shield- 🤍 EasyVR 3.0 is a multi-purpose speech recognition module designed to add versatile, robust and cost effective speech and voice recognition capabilities to virtually any application. EasyVR is the third generation version of the successful VRbot module and builds on the features and functionality of its predecessor. In addition to the EasyVR 3.0 features like 28 user-defined Speaker Dependent (SD) triggers and 28 custom speaker independent (SI) commands, the shield has additional connectors for the microphone input, an 8 ohm speaker output, audio line-out/headphone jack, and access to the I/O pins of the EasyVR module. A programmable LED is also included to show feedback during recognition tasks.

This is a simple demo showing how you can use an EasyVR Shield with an Arduino to implement an access control system based on voice passwords. In this demo we use the EasyVR Commander to train user names and passwords but you could also make a complete stand-alone system by integrating all training phases in your Arduino code as well. First of all we create some voice recordings to guide the user during the demo and we transfer them into the EasyVR sound table, then we train user names in group 1 and related passwords in group 16. In order to simulate the access opening and closing we used a simple servo. Obviously you are free to connect and control anything you like (for instance electrolocks or the like). The Arduino code let the EasyVR wait for user names in group 1 and, if any name is recognized, the system asks for the related password. If the password is recognized the access is granted, if not the access is denied. You can find the Arduino code in the Downloads section of the VeeaR website: 🤍

Ресурсы контроллеров Arduino сильно ограничены, поэтому для распознавания команд плата оборудована своим процессором. Однокристальные системы Sensory используются для обработки звука в системах управления умными домами и даже в детских игрушках. На базе этих чипов построены электронные пушистики Фёрби. Чип обрабатывает сигнал с микрофона микрофона и сравнивает полученную команду с образцами из своей памяти. Если совпадение найдено, плата передаёт на контроллер номер исполняемой команды. В память EasyVR поместится 256 разных команд общей продолжительностью около двадцати минут. Из коробки плата уже понимает 26 базовых команд на шести языках. Плата умеет не только слушать, но и разговаривать. Для вывода записанных звуков предусмотрены два аудиовыхода — компактный JST и привычный стереоджек - поэтому к плате легко подключить динамики, колонки или наушники с разъёмом 3,5 мм. Плата укомплектована микрофоном, оптимизированным для распознавания голоса. Он подключается к отдельному разъёму платы. Обратите внимание, что плата поставляется с нераспаяными штырьковыми соединителями. Чтобы начать работу с модулем, придётся вооружиться паяльником и самостоятельно впаять контактные колодки. In this video I unbox the shield as it comes from spark fun, solder and assemble it, then test the shield with an Arduino Uno and example sketch, that comes with the EasyVR library. The shield seems to be pretty good at properly identifying verbal commands when tested with serial port monitor. 🤍

First test of speech control (Frsky 2.4GHz PPM technology ~1km stock range). Some noise disturbances still occur, so recognition is not 100%. Will test different microphones and phrases soon. Stay tuned.

Okay so Prior to this my device could control appliances such as the TV and lamps via voice commands. Now IUVO needed a face! I have projected a face onto a plastic head. What is happening in this video is that once the device hears a voice command it is triggering a video, for example when it hears "IUVO" a video is triggered of the face saying "Good Morning"
